Who we are

An independent reference desk for TV mounting

MountEdge exists to explain how a wall-mounted television goes up safely — the structure, the geometry and the load — in plain, documented language. Nothing is for sale here.

What MountEdge is

MountEdge is an information resource. We publish structured guidance on planning and carrying out a TV wall-mount: reading VESA patterns, identifying wall types, interpreting weight ratings, choosing fixings and verifying the finished install. The aim is to help you understand the decisions before you make them, so the result is a screen that sits where it should and stays there.

What MountEdge is not

We are not a retailer, an installer or a manufacturer. We do not sell televisions, mounts, fixings or installation services, we take no bookings, and we process no payments. We hold no affiliation with any TV or mount brand, and we make no official, authorised or certified claims about any product. Where we describe mount types or concepts, it is to explain how they work — not to endorse a particular one.

How we write

Our guidance is written to be general and cautious. It is not a replacement for the instructions supplied with your specific television and mount, and it does not override the judgement of a qualified professional. Throughout the site we point back to two things you should always defer to: the manufacturers' instructions, and expert advice where there is any structural or electrical doubt.

How to reach us

Our team works entirely online, so we keep no storefront or public phone line. The best way to reach us is by email at support@mountedge.online, or through the contact page. We're glad to answer general questions and point you to the part of the guide that helps.

Our position, in one line

Independent, non-commercial, and written to help you plan — never to sell you anything.
